My name is Figs, like the fruit.
My name is Sarah Maria Filgueiras (she/they), but you can call me "Figs," just like the fruit. I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in Florida. Proudly rooted in Miami as a "305 till I die" native and a Latinx therapist, I specialize in offering Telehealth mental health counseling and sex therapy. I'm deeply passionate about assisting individuals and partners in navigating their intimate lives and embracing their genuine sexual selves. I strive to create a welcoming environment where you can feel safe exploring your desires, overcoming challenges, and fostering a healthy relationship with your sexuality.
Beyond my practice, I actively engage in promoting sexual education and breaking stigmas surrounding conversations about sex and relationships. I conduct workshops, speak on the radio, and participate in community outreach programs to advocate for healthy attitudes toward sexuality.
